Patricia McQuillan Cummings '77
& kevin cummings

Kevin Cummings, chairman and CEO of Investors Bank, says he and wife Patricia McQuillan Cummings ’77 epitomize the Warren Buffett quote: “You want to associate with people who are the kind of person you’d like to be – the most important person by far is your spouse.” The Cummings reside in Summit, where Patricia enabled and supported Kevin’s career — first as a CPA and partner at KPMG and now as chairman and CEO of Investors Bank.

Patricia’s own career included positions in teaching, public relations and banking, after earning her bachelor’s degree in urban studies and secondary education from Saint Peter’s University in 1977. She left the business world to focus on her family and the couple’s four children: Katie, a graduate of Bowdoin College; Kevin and William, graduates of the College of the Holy Cross; and Mary, a graduate of Colby College. Patricia’s dedication to her children and extended family is an inspiration to all who know her.
